Phil Gonzalez non finisce mai di stupirci e di punto in bianco ci presenta la prima app ufficiale per iOS dedicata agli Instagramers. A seguito della versione in italiano del post troverete la traduzione in inglese.
In realtà qualcosa avevamo subodorato ma Phil è riuscito a tenerci all’oscuro di tutto tra una battuta e l’altra. Doveva essere una sorpresa e così è stato. Ci fa quindi molto piacere poter presentare agli addicted Instagram della community italiana la nuova app gratuita che non può mancare sui nostri iPhone. Vi diciamo subito che per la versione Android è solo una questione di tempo (come annuncia lo stesso Phil “Android will be a next step. We have to take a rest for some days. It has been months and months of work!”)
Ma veniamo all’app e una breve descrizione punto per punto delle sue caratteristiche:
- La prima sezione che ci viene presentata è quella dedicata alle News, una home che riporta tutte le pubblicazioni presenti su instagramers.com nello stesso ordine di pubblicazione del sito. Una vera e propria versione “offline” dedicata al mobile del sito (da questo punto di vista ad esempio instagramersitalia.it ha puntato su un web design full responsive, basta provare ad accedere al sito dal browser del vostro smartphone per capire, ma parliamo comunque di due approcci differenti).
- Subito dopo le News nel menù presente nella parte bassa dello schermo troviamo la voce Tutorials. I contenuti è facile intuirli. In quest’area sono riportati tutti le guide pubblicate sul sito ufficiale e spaziano dalle basi (How to start in Instagram) ed arrivano ad argomenti più intriganti (10 ways to make Instagram profitable). Ce n’è per tutti i gusti e tutte le esigenze.
- Subito dopo ci si presenta davanti il Focus On. Come nel sito sotto questa categoria sono raggruppate tutte le interviste ad iphoneographers internazionali e ManIgers da tutto il mondo. Il modo migliore per scoprire nuovi scatti e cosa c’è dietro gli scatti (altrimenti Instagram non sarebbe un vero social).
- Quasi in dirittura d’arrivo ci si presenta davanti la vera e propria chicca, esclusiva della versione mobile: il Tag Finder. Questa ricerca interna ci permette infatti di avere qualche informazione in più sui tag usati all’interno di Instagram indicandoci il giorno della creazione del tag, il numero di foto che lo riportano, il suo creatore, cioè il primo iger che ha usato quel tag. Su questa parte mi sono soffermato un po’ e mi sono divertito parecchio a vedere da dove sono nati tag che sono poi diventati di uso comune.
- Infine abbiamo i Links, una sezione dedicata a tutte le news sul mondo Instagram e non solo, dato che sotto la voce Cities potete trovare informazioni su tutti i 268 (al momento) gruppi ufficiali sparsi per il globo.
Che dire, siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi e colpiti. Si tratta a tutti gli effetti, come già detto, di una versione offline del sito, di grande utilità per la consultazione considerando che soprattutto l’area Tutorials riceverà un boost notevole a livello di contenuti. Insomma, un app che non può mancare nel vostro carnet, anche solo per tenervi aggiornati su tutte le novità che fanno gola agli Instagram addicted. Correte a scaricarla!

The Instagramers have their official app, too!
Phil Gonzalez never stops to surprise us and all at once he presents us the first official app for iOS dedicated to the Instagramers. But even if we expected something like that, Phil succeeded in keeping us in the dark. It should be a surprise and so it was. It’s a pleasure to present to all Instagram addicted of our Italian community the new and free app we won’t miss on our iPhones and the Android version is only a matter of time (as mentioned by Phil: “Android will be a next step. We have to take a rest for some days. It has been months and months of work!”)
But let’s turn to the app and a short description of the characteristics poit by point:
The first section is dedicated to the news and reports on all the publications of instagramers.com in the same order they are published on the website. A real “offline” version of the website (from this point of view instagramersitalia.it for example aims for a web design full responsive, just try to access the website from the browser of your smartphone, we’re talking about two different approaches, however)
After the news we find the section Tutorials at the bottom of the screen. The content is easy to intuit. In this section you will find all the guides published on the official website, from the basics (How to start in Instagram) to more complex topics (10 ways to make Instagram more profitable). You will find something for every taste and every demand.
Subsequently the section Focus On appears. Just like in the category of the website you will find all the interviews of international iPhoneographers and worldwide ManIgers. The best way to explore new pics and the story behind them (otherwise Instagram wouldn’t be a real social network).
The last but one section presents the real highlight, exclusively in the mobile version, the Tag Finder. This internal research allows us to get some further information about the tags used in Instagram, indicating the day it was created, the number of the photos and by whom it was created, that means the first Iger who used this tag. There I spent a little bit more time and had much fun to explore who created the tags which afterwards obtained a common use.
Finally there are the Links, a section dedicated to all the news of the Instagram world and in the section Cities you will find information about all the 268 official groups (at the moment) around the globe.
What to say, we’re pleasantly surprised and impressed. As I said before, it’s an offline version of the website, very helpful for consulting, considering that above all the section Tutorials will receive a considerable boost regarding the content.
All in all an app you should not miss, just to keep yourself informed about all the thrilling news for Instagram addicts.
